Color-Block Your Way into Style

06.01.13

The rules of color are changing; and color-blocking is the key.

Color-blocking is the process of wearing solid colors of clothing against a color that may not initially “seem” to “match”.

Take green and purple for example, or blue and orange.

These colors are complementary, but aren’t the first thing a conservatively dressed person would put together.

These days, monochrome color matching is kind-of out.  No more black on black on black on black.

Start mixing your blacks, browns, and blues with bright, adventurous, solid colors.

Doing so will express your style, boost your confidence, and help you stand out from the crowd while remaining “within pocket”.
